Do new users send DNN new user email? 668 1

My customer reported that for most new users they are not receiving a new user alert email from DNN. If I create a new user account in DNN, the alert is sent. Is an alert sent when a guest places an order and a new account is created for them, also We are wondering if this is why we are "missing" so many notifications.

Google Test Fail - Enable compression 19122 4

Google webmaster tools test fails the Mobile Speed test. One item Google says needs fixing is: 'Enable compression'.
I have installed Optimizer 2.0 on a DNN 8.04 site. I have enabled compression on the module settings and have a modern responsive skin.
Does the Optimizer relate to this test

When I drop the optimizer module onto a new page like the direction ask I get the following error:

Hello,
I'm potentially interested in a couple of your products, so I thought I'd try the free version of Optimizer first. However, when I tried to use it, I got this message:
'This software appears to be improperly licensed and may violate the terms and agreement.'
I downloaded 1.3, but it was from the DNN Store, if it makes a difference. I don't see anywhere to input a license key or the DNN Store invoice number, if one is necessary.
Please advise...

Does not uninstall correctly, site crashes after ninstall 19503 7

When I tried to uninstall the module, it did not remove the cleanup schedule, my site crashed after the uninstall.
Suggestion: provide a pre-uninstall option for the host so that the schedule is removed & the Default.browser file is deleted. Note: In general we do not give FTP access to sites (security measure), so deleting files from the website file system other than the portals subfolder is not possible.
