    Hi, a client has some orders which didn't require shipping but the shipping status was manually set to "Packing" by mistake. If the Shipping Status for an order is set to "Not Required", will this send an order update email? The client doesn't want emails being sent for these as it will confuse their customers.

    Hi,

    You can temporarily disable the Order Update email under Configuration > Communication settings. Update the status , Save and then later re-enable the email.
