A major customer emailed today to ask if upcoming changes to the UPS Shipping API will affect them.  Here is the notice and migration guide from UPS:

    https://eng2e.seismic.com...LUSSIGNQBGwEQUALSIGN

    The highlights are:

    • Beginning June 3 2024, access keys will no longer be supported for authentication
    • API integration owners must obtain new API credentials from the UPS Developer Portal and update their application interface to use the OAuth 2.0 security model.
    • Any legacy UPS API integrations using XML, SOAP, or legacy JSON payloads will also be required to convert to the RESTful API

I checked our Revindex 18.8.0 / DNN 9.12.0 Shipping configuration for UPS Ground, etc., and see an "Access key" and no options for OAuth.

Will you be releasing an update, and when?

    Hi Lee

Thank you for bringing it to our attention. We appreciate your contribution to DNN and the Storefront ecosystem. smiley

We have already scheduled to work on putting UPS OAuth in place next month (April) so you should have sufficient time to upgrade.

    Hi

We have a new Storefront v20 release that covers the UPS authentication changes. Please take a backup and upgrade at your earliest convenience and test.

    Thank you

I installed Revindex Storefront 20.0.0 on a fresh installation of DNN 9.13.3. I configured the store, adding in two FedEx shipping options and two UPS shipping options, using my current FedEx credentials and new UPS OAuth 2.0 credentials. When I check out, the two FedEx options appear, but the UPS options do not.

Can you confirm that you have tested and successfully use the new support for UPS OAuth 2.0 credentials? If yes, can you give details on how you obtained your credentials? I created an App on the UPS site and I am using the Client ID and Secret from that App.

    Hi Lee

Yes, the v20 code has been completely rewriteen to use OAuth credentials and the new REST API.

Please follow the instructions here to obtain your new OAuth credentials.

You can also enable Debug mode to log the messages from UPS.
