Make sure you enable the standard Microsoft Distributed Transaction Manager service on Windows. This is a requirement to run the Storefront for atomic transaction processing.

My web hosting provider does not enable "network access" on MS DTC on SHARED HOSTING. Is there an alternate configuration/implementation which does not utilize network enabled DTC functionality? The shopping cart seems to be working except I get the above error message when I click on save in manage orders module.

    Hi,

The upcoming release will not require MS DTC on your hosting and still have the benefit of transactions.

    Thanks,
