    Hi,

    We are having 2 problems with the URL provider as detailed below.  We are using Revindex Storefront 19.3.0.

    1. When the Revindex URL provider is enabled, we are many repetitive URL's containing the rvdsfpid parameter when crawling the site.  We are using an SEO company to improve the site and they are saying this is causing issues with regards to SEO.  A partial list of the URL's is provided here - https://docs.google.com/s...LI/edit?pli=1#gid=0. To take an example, the last one in the list is  <style type="text/css"><!--td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--> </style> https://saladmaster.com/e...ucts/skillets.  This has our-products and product-details repeated many times.

    2.  If we disable the URL provider to prevent this from happening some of the product detail pages stop working.  Here is an example of what is appearing on the pages that break - https://saladmasterstage....chen-tool-set.  However, most of the product detail pages continue to work correctly, such as this one - https://saladmasterstage....ver-133.

    Hi Jason

    Which Storefront version you're running? You can find out by looking at the persona bar Extensions or from the Storefront Administration page (scroll to bottom).

    1. DNN comes with different URL providers. Is your site running with the DNN Advanced URL provider? If so it should have generated very short and clean URLs. See here for more information on Advanced URL provider.

    It looks like your Products page is using a different module to show the categories? For example, the Limited Edition 8.5 Qt Roaster product uses a different URL format (probably hardcoded by someone):

    https://saladmaster.com/e...on-85-qt-roaster-360

    When you click on that product and you actually inspect the source code, you can see the Storefront generated a canonical URL that has a shorter format.

    <link rel="canonical" href="https://saladmaster.com/en-us/our-products/product-details/new-limited-edition-85-qt-roaster" />

    Are you using the wrong module? There is a Product Showcase module that comes included with the Storefront than can be used to showcase products. It would have generated the correct URLs.

    2. I don't think you should disable the URL provider. Instead you should find out if you're using the wrong module or hardcoding the wrong URLs.

    Thank you
