    DNN version is 8.0.4
    Storefront version 16.11.0

    Hi,

We are setting up Storefront for the first time. In checkout, if we try to update the cart or delete an item we get a 500 error. When we inspect the error in the browser developer tools the response is "The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred."

We found in the knowledgebase/Common-Errors the recommended fix for this error. We updated IIS per your instructions. We still get the same error.

What do you recommend we do next?

    Thanks

This is a very common issue we see. Often times, the WebDAV isn't disabled correctly. Can you please make sure WebDAV is removed? The best way is to go to your Turn Windows features on or off and then uncheck the Internet Information Services > World Wide Web Services > Common HTTP Features > WebDav Publishing.

Let me know if this worked. Thank you

    Hi,
Your instructions did not work for me. We are on Windows Server 2016. When I try to go to "Turn Windows features on or off", we end up on Server Manager. Using the Remove Roles and Features Wizard, I could only find "WebDAV Redirector (uninstalled)" which was unchecked.

I checked our web.config file and we have under and . So as far as I can tell WebDAV has been disabled

    Any other recommendations?

    Thanks

The editor stripped part of what I wrote. Here is the corrected sentence.

I checked our web.config file and we have "remove name="WebDAVModule" under the modules section and the handlers section. So as far as I can tell WebDAV has been disabled

Performing testing directly on our web server has given us a much better error message:

HTTP Error 500.21 - Internal Server Error
Handler "ExtensionlessUrl-Integrated-4.0" has a bad module "ManagedPipelineHandler" in its module list

I reached out to our server provider, managed.com, to see if they can help with this issue. Is there any advice you can provide?

    Thanks
