Is there a way to leave a product in the store but not allow the user to add to the cart. I tried to set the inventory to a max of 5 because i know we've sold more than that but it still allows users to add to the cart. I added a message to the product that says sold out but i want to disable the add to cart button. Any ideas? I want to leave it in the store because it has hotel information and other details someone might look for before attending the seminar.

Under the same place where you set the Inventory value for a product, did you try setting the Inventory behavior to "Disallow order". This should hide the Add to cart button and show a Sold out message,
