    Hello,

Similar to my previous thread. Whenever you access the product list page it has a clean URL e.g. https://www.steelgear.co.uk/Products/snap-hooks

but if you then change the product list to view more products, lets say 96 you get a different URL - https://www.steelgear.co....ap-hooks/rvdsfpvs/96

and then if you change to grid view then you'll get - https://www.steelgear.co....pvs/96/rvdsfpvm/list

In the above instance google is indexing multiple URLs for the same page. So my question is: how do we stop this happening as google penalizes duplicate content?

    Kind Regards

    Ciaran

    Hi Ciaran

How do you know Google has indexed those URLs you posted? For example, to trigger the page size change would require a clicking intervention and javascript to execute. Google would usually not index those pages because it understands they are not natural links.

The next release will have some improvements in this area as it will include rel="nofollow" attributes on the Grid/List buttons to make sure robots don't follow those links.

    Thanks,
