How to delete order and increase stock again.

    Hi Stephen,

    I have a customer who wants to cancel an order.
    Will the stock increased again with the amount of the canceled items when I cancel this order
    What is the best way to do this?

    Hi Stephen,

    Find the answer I think.

    - Inventory : Increment
    - Change order status to "Incomplete".

    Hope this is the right way.

    All good except I would put order status to Cancelled, which i think makes more sense? Incomplete allows the customer to resume their checkout if they have the link.

    Hi Stepen,

    If I put this canceled order in the "canceled" tray, will it be there forever?
    That the reason I put this in the "Incomplete" Tray

    Yes, however, don't be concerned if it appears on the screen. In most countries, it's even required by law to keep cancelled orders (for tax audit purposes) so don't be concerned if you cannot delete them.
