This is a show stopper for us. We need the purchased roles to be applied during the current session. You buy something you get it, you shouldn't need to sign off and back on.

Will this fix be in the next release?

We dynamically assign roles and have them take effect immediately in several places in our LMS, and CataLook does this as well. We have example code that shows how to assign and update the role cache in real time, so the user does not need to logout, on for the new roles to take effect.

That won't be necessary. It's already coded and to be included in the next release this weekend.

Guys, we just released v2.3 with the fix for the role. We tested and the role assignment picks up immediately. Give it a try.
