A point-of-sale (POS) is a hardware system allowing businesses with a physical store presence to accept offline orders quickly. The Storefront has built-in POS capability allowing your business to easily operate an unlimited number of cash registers simultaneously.

Limitations

The POS screen is optimized for quick order entry from a physical location. Currently, the Storefront POS is restricted to basic products typically sold at a retail store or restaurant. The following features are not allowed at the moment:

  • Recurring products
  • Complex bundled products
  • Booking products
  • Products requiring shipping
  • Products with custom fields
  • Sales order custom fields
