The cash register is used to hold cash and coins as well as checks handed to you by the customer. Most modern cash registers can be triggered to open automatically by connecting it to the thermal printer.

Connect the RJ-11/RJ-12 cable from the cash register to the back of your thermal printer.

Some cash registers may be equipped with a key lock for auto and manual mode. Make sure the key is turned to the correct operation mode to allow the electronic trigger to work. Please see your cash register's users manual for more information.
