OpenAI assistance
One of the most significant features of this release is the ability to generate product descriptions using Open AI. Simply provide the product name, brand and model and the AI engine will write unique and compelling product descriptions for you.
You may not know everything about your products, but the AI knows a lot more. It can research your product and help generate your product specifications because it knows your AMANA dryer has 6.5 cu.ft of capacity and 11 drying cycles!
We also know how difficult it is to categorize products. The latest Storefront can automatically associate products with categories, making it easier for customers to locate products in an online store.
What's more in this release is the ability to generate product review text using ChatGPT Open AI. This feature can help online store owners generate genuine and accurate product reviews without relying on user-generated content.
Web farm performance
The software release also comes with several performance enhancements, including a rewritten cache engine for better compatibility with Web farm setups. Additionally, the startup time has been improved by using a cache lock per portal. The async cache fetch size is now configurable, making it possible to adjust the cache fetch size according to specific needs.
Avalara upgrade
The Storefront is Avalara tax certified. This release includes upgrades to the Avalara tax provider to their latest REST API v2, which improves the tax calculation speed and accuracy. The Avalara address validation provider has also been upgraded to cover the United States and Canada.
E-commerce Optimized Themes
Create your next ecommerce Web site quickly using our new Storefront optimized themes (sold separately). Our themes are fully customizable everything from fonts, colors, buttons to even backgrounds. Choose from a variety of base themes (more in development) that are mobile responsive and tuned for speed without sacrificing usability.
Block Editor
