I need to have tiered discount that is priced Qty 1=$595 (MSRP), Qty 2 and beyond $200 discount each. So, a purchase of Qty 2 should be $990, 4 should be $1780 ($595+(3x395)). To get it working, I've created Qty Begin and Qty End with a stepped price adustment for each increment.

It works, however it looks very goofy and cluttered on the page, and is unclear to the end user.

Is there a better approach to this? Thank you.

I'm not sure what version you're running. If you use the Tier pricing rule, you can get a table looking like this. Let me know if this is more useful?

Thanks, I'm using 17.14, my tier pricing looks like the demo, so that's good. My real question is: Is there a better way to achieve this pricing structure? For example, when you purchase 10, it comes close to, but not exactly the number desired (it's off by 2 cents or so - the discount each is $177.7777778) -- Ideas appreciated, thank you.

If it's a percentage discount, you may end up with some decimal numbers. You can also use a Custom rule (XSL) and round the numbers to your liking. For display, you can then create a custom display template to render the way you want and assign it to be used for this product.

    I hope this helps! smiley
