Just installed 2.0 for first time user. I pick a user, and click "Impersonate" button, and it takes me to login screen. The login form is blank. I am GUESSING that it should have the fields filled in, ready to click "login" button?

We have to use a 3rd party login module (Dynamic Login) because the client needs the role-specific redirect features it supplies.

IS THERE SOME WAY WE CAN USE Impersonator? I realize that you might not be able to interface with every product out there. But is there some way we can send the impersonator redirect to a different login page besides the default one? Then I could have the standard login module deployed where regular users can't see it.

    Another idea??

    Hi David,

Are you running the Trial mode? If so, the Trial is limited to impersonating from host user to admin user.

You shouldn't see the login page. Please post some screenshots if it helps to explain.

    Thanks,

Our module is fully registered. I just checked and the log does not show it as activated, however. I did restart the application pool as suggested, but it is not active. Perhaps that is the problem.

    Hi David,

If you look at your DNN Admin > User accounts and search the "TestDavid" user, you'll see that the account is not marked as authorized. This is usually because your registration mode is Private, None or Verified under Admin > Site Settings needing you to manually authorize it. Once you authorize the user, the impersonator will be able to login as that user seamlessly.

    Thanks,

Thanks so much Stephen! I don't know why someone (perhaps the client or my programmers?) changed the status of my test account without telling me. I appreciate your help!!

    David
