Where are the Index and Search modules?

    I've downloaded the trial and installed the module but can't seem to find the index module or search module either in the list of available module or as module definitions in extensions.

    Both the ViewRevindexWikiIndex.ascx and ViewRevindexWikiSearch.asc in in the module folder, but it appears like the manifest didn't reate module or controls for them.

    I can create my own, but wondered if you could create a new build to correct this issue.

    Hi,

    Are you running DNN 7.0.0? That version of DNN has a known bug that fails to instantiate module controls when dropped onto a page. Please upgrade to the latest DNN 7.0.1+ or you can workaround it by changing the control bar to use the old style menu under Host > Settings page.

    I have the same issue. I am using 7.03, where the new control bar is still and issue for many, so am using the ribbon bar. I can't find the RevindexWikiIndex module or the search module either using the trail version.

    Any help please as we are looking for a wiki, the DNN one you need to know wiki mark up and the functionality is too limited. You competitor is a bit pricey.

    Never mind.

    For any one else, you have to been in Ribbon Bar before you place the module on the page. Just changing the bar afterwards does not make the index and search appear.

    Upgrading to DNN 7.0.3 and uninstalling and re-installing the module solved the issue. Working fine now with the DNN 7.x Control Panel. Thanks for the quick response.
