Great product!
Questionn, can the storefront charge tax on shipping and handling? Where I live, taxes need to be applied to shipping/handling on top of products.

Yes, tax can be applied to shipping, handling and products.
Create a new tax class called "Shipping" and in the tax rule, select the shipping amount to multiple by your tax rate.
In your custom shipping setting, set the Tax Class field to this new tax class you just created.
