What permissions are required to allow users to edit the wiki content.

I have set the module permissions to allow registered users to edit.

Is there a more comprehensive manual then the one you have online?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Currently, you just need to grant them edit permission to the module (or page) by whichever role you like like any DNN module. Please note this is the first v1.0 release and there's a todo plan to create more granular permissions, versioning, etc. to eventually become a full wiki.

    Thanks Stephen:

I was going to ask about versioning.

A co-worker, working on a different DNN install has just bought your wiki module, so I will have a go at on his site.

Thanks again eh. From on Canadian to another.

Do you guys have a share-able roadmap and timeline for feature releases from this module? We run a large (and aging) Wiki using ScrewTurn and haven't found a suitable replacement - but nothing in the DNN space even comes close to what we need. Our alternative is to write our own but I think with a few additions this could be a nice option.

    Hi,

We don't publish a road map but I think in the medium term horizon, we're looking at more granular permissions, tracking edit history, then versioning and social tags, etc. in that order. If there's something that you need very soon, you may consider contacting us to sponsor a feature for earlier release.

    Thanks,

Thanks Stephen. Versioning, a markdown editor, granular permissions and core taxonomy + social tags would all be things we're interested in seeing in a replacement. In addition we're interested in social integration to the journal "Stephen updated the document How to Do Something Technical", magic words, links to a new page, etc.

More advanced features we've discussed might include; core workflow integration (DNN Professional), curation tools, social group integration (filtering), etc.

Do you have an ETA on your medium horizon feature set?

Also, feature sponsorship is certainly possible. We've done that in the past with module vendors. Please reach out to me directly via email (it's on my account here) and we can talk about what that might look like.
