Is it possible to connect the logo from facebook of the wiki to a specified account.
So it connects to the watermanshop on facebook and not to my personal account?

copy wiki with content to another page.

Hi Stephen,

I have a wiki with more categories.
for example:
Featured articles
Category 1
Category 2
etc.

I want to display this wiki on some different pages.
On the start page a display the featured articles.
On another page category 1
Etc..

For this I want to copy the instance of the wiki to the pages where I want to display these article.
For the start page I want to display the wiki and make only the feature articles visable.

However, when I copy the instance of the wiki to the start page then the wiki is empty.
I can copy the wiki however it stays empty.
What do I do wrong here?

Revindex Wiki 6 - Search answers powered by OpenAI, usability improvements and more.

We're excited to announce the release of Wiki 6, which comes packed with a ton of new features and improvements to make your experience even better than before.

OpenAI Search

One of the most exciting updates is the addition of the OpenAI, which provides relevant and accurate answers to search queries. Why spend time clicking on search result links and reading entire text when AI can return the answer to your question. This improved experience will translate to less support questions and more happy customers.

Usability Improvements

There are many usability improvements in the latest version. For example, you'll also now be able to delete topics directly from the view topic page. Other new features include the ability to show the last updated date and estimated reading time, a larger WYSIWYG editor for easier editing.

Performance Improvements

We've also refactored the data access layer for improved performance and included many fixes. We're confident that these updates will make your experience with Revindex Wiki even better. Thank you for using our software and we can't wait to see what you create with version 6!

Much, Much, More...

There are so many more new enhancements and fixes that we cannot possibly cover here. Check out the list of features, fixes and security enhancements in our Release notes here.

Download our Free Trial software to run on your site. Check out the online demo (the user/pwd is on the Login page).
User Cannot Edit Topic

I am using Wiki 5 on dnn 9.8.

I installed the module. I created a site role called Wiki Editor. I placed a user in the role.

I enabled the Edit module permission for Wiki Editor.

I created a topic as the host user. I gave a user permission to do everything for the topic except Move and Delete.

When the user logs in, he does not see any options to edit the topic. He has clicked on the topic. The only visible icons are the social media and Comments button.

What step did i miss to enable a user to edit a topic?

Wiki Search returns no results

Hi,

We've recently purchased and installed the Wiki and populated it with a significant amount of information. Unfortunately, the search function has stopped working.

It simply returns 0 results. The standard website search function is working fine and indexing.

Any ideas?

Edit / Copy Topic option is not displaying in menu

Dear Team,

We have installed Demo version of Wiki Module in our DNN 8.4 Website. From super user / administrator account it is possible only to add topics, edit / copy topic options is not displaying in the menu of the wiki module. also, on click on any page in index, content is not loading and we have to select list "all topic one page" to show contents. Is this behavior is obvious in DEMO mode? or something is not correct with installation.
attached picture of the page.

https support in search result

Dear Team,

We are using Revindex wiki latest version in our portal for trial basis. Links in Search results in wiki always starts with http, no matter our portal has enabled SSL and running on https, not on http. This is causing trouble when opening search results. It seems like http is hard coded in module, please guide us how to resolve this issue. We would purchase module immediately after this bug is fixed as it is meeting our all requirements.

Thank you

Profile image and link not working

Hi,

I've just enabled comments and made a few style changes to ViewRevindexWiki.ascx (version 03.00.00). I notice that the profile image and link in the comments are not working.

When I check the image tag (chrome developer tools), it shows:

<img src="https://www.revindex.com/profilepic.ashx?userid=2&amp;w=32&amp;h=32" alt="">

and the profile link as:

<a id="dnn_ctr422_ViewRevindexWiki_TopicContentRepeater_CommentRepeater_0_CommentNameHyperLink_0">Steven McFadyen</a>

In ViewRevindexWiki.ascx, the two lines are (which I have not modified):

<asp:HyperLink ID="CommentProfileHyperLink" runat="server" ImageUrl='<%# "CommentProfileImage_ImageUrl") %>' CssClass="rvdwkProfileImage"></asp:HyperLink>

<asp:HyperLink ID="CommentNameHyperLink" runat="server" Text='<%# "CommentNameHyperLink_Text") %>'></asp:HyperLink>

What is the best way to fix this?

Also, is it also possible to use the displayName, rather than first name and last <g class="gr_ gr_329 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim Punctuation multiReplace" id="329" data-gr-id="329"><g class="gr_ gr_323 gr-alert gr_spell gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="323" data-gr-id="323">nam</g>.</g>

Google Structured Data

Hi,

Is there any way to add structured data to topics. I don't mind editing the .aspx directly, but I need some hints on how to proceed (getting the title, published date, etc.).

A typical markup (not all fields required) example is:

<script type="application/ld+json">
{ "@context": "http://schema.org",
"@type": "TechArticle",
"headline": "Extra! Extra! Read alla bout it",
"dependencies": "You must be at least a level 2 PRO to make this happen",
"proficiencyLevel": "Expert",
"alternativeHeadline": "This article is also about robots and stuff",
"image": "http://example.com/image.jpg",
"author": "Patrick Coombe",
"award": "Best article ever written",
"editor": "Craig Mount",
"genre": "search engine optimization",
"keywords": "seo sales b2b",
"wordcount": "1120",
"publisher": "Book Publisher Inc",
"url": "http://www.example.com",
"datePublished": "2015-09-20",
"dateCreated": "2015-09-20",
"dateModified": "2015-09-20",
"description": "We love to do stuff to help people and stuff",
"articleBody": "You can paste your entire post in here, and yes it can get really really long."

Hi

Is there a weight inside the search?

Like if the word you are searching for is inside the title instread of the body, it should be weighted higher. Or is there another way it weights the search?

Best regards

Vidar

DNN 5.6 support

Hello,

I know DNN 5.x is obsolete, but do you plan to make your module compatible with DNN 5.6.7 by any chance?

Language support

Stumbled on Revindex Wiki and seems to perfectly fit my needs to replace our applications built in help file and move it to the web. My questions is how about language support? Our help file is required to support at least 8 languages today but might be more. And as many languages will be translated by external company we would need some smart way of doing this. Guess we could add it manually but how would you recommend the support of many languages.
