So I have a wierd problem. I am using Paypal standard, and today had an order go through Paypal, but not get recorded in Revindex. I got an email confirmation from Paypal and see the transaction there, and I see the new user registration, but no order in Revindex.

Is there anything I can do to trace this back? I have actually had several customers call saying they couldn't get there orders to process, but when I do it it works fine. So I am appearently plagued by a Paypal disconnect.

Any suggestions of how I can track it? or resolve?

Hi,

The customer likely didn't redirect back to your site and the Storefront didn't receive the confirmation from PayPal that the payment is made. Please make sure to follow the instructions to set up PayPal Standard in the Users manual?

"Checkout using PayPal Website Payments Standard relies on the Web browser redirection to a PayPal hosted payment page and therefore, you need to configure the return URL to ensure the customer is safely redirected back to your site after completing their payment on PayPal. To configure the return URL, login to PayPal Web site and go to Profile. Then go to Website payment preferences. Enable Auto Return and set the Return URL field to your Web site’s address (e.g. http://www.example.com)."

Ugh. OK, no didn't do that. So just redirect back to the top of the website (www.vintagewinecellars.net)? Not to the Cart page or anything specific?
Thank you!

Yeah, you can put your top domain. It won't use that value. Once enabled, the Storefront will notify PayPal exactly where to redirect back.

Thanks,
